Visualpedia will be a set of physical handbooks, an online encyclopedia, and AR applications which seek to bridge the gap between information and understanding. When complex things are presented using interactive simulations, dissections, diagrams, time-lapse, slow-motion, microscopy, and other techniques, they are often very easy to comprehend. We aim to build on the great tradition of science visualization and illustration to create the visual encyclopedia we always wished existed.
